Truth and Trust

The 1969 “moon landings” have long been my benchmark, perhaps slightly arrogantly, for ascertaining the depth of a person’s perception skills. I have been a moon landing denier from a young age, and it has always struck me as unfathomable that anyone could believe not least the blatant fakery of the footage from “the moon”, but also the inability of the authorities to explain the inexplicable. The landline telephone call from the White House to the moon should be enough to debunk the story! And heads must have rolled after this guy was wheeled out to explain why they haven’t gone back. “Erm, we destroyed that technology”. Right. Anyway, the more recent drive-by past the far side of the moon has done nothing to convince me that I was wrong about the 1969 psyop, nor that they are any more able today to explore “outer space” (if it even exists) than they were back then. In fact, there’s a big, silvery-coloured chimney extractor unit on the back of the café that I live next door to (see below) which looks more capable of reaching the moon than the rocket NASA supposedly sent up.

They didn’t even try that hard this time. The images we were given of the actors playing space travellers were so incredibly and obviously fake. The Nutella product placement was a particularly humorous touch. That, and the story about the shitter being blocked, and the astronauts having to learn to be “space plumbers”. They are just laughing at us, aren’t they?

With moon landings and space as my benchmark of old, recent times have provided some new opportunities for demarcating individuals, in the form of some very blatant psyops that have been churned out and promoted like Hollywood blockbusters. Two that had huge significance, for reasons I will explain, have been Lucy Connolly’s alleged jailing for a tweet here in the UK, and the alleged murder of Charlie Kirk in the US. I can, and do, give some leeway both to normies and to those perhaps recently aware and on the learning curve who may fall for such staged events. I would never deny that I have fallen for some of the trickery in the past, there are examples on this very site, articles written through a perspective of a position from which I have now shifted. It is the reason I prominently display the date a piece was written at the very beginning. We all embark upon a journey of sorts on our awakening to the chicanery and shenanigans “They” carry out on our psyche.

When Lucy Connelly (or rather, whoever runs her Twitter account) hit send on the now infamous tweet that supposedly landed her in jail, it was simply a step in the bigger game plan, designed to ignite the subsequent shit storm of accusations of two-tier policing against Starmer’s leadership and the supposed death of free speech. Much as the “shooting” of highly promoted right-wing US “Christian”, Charlie Kirk, was a deliberate catalyst for the accusations of persecution of those deemed far-right. Both events were so poorly orchestrated, however, and for anyone who had merely dipped a big toe into the water of the conspiracy world, both were very, very obviously faked. So, when a significant number of “truthers” seemingly so quickly fell for both of these obvious faked events, and began not just asserting belief in both operations, but outright promoting their intended message, it was a telling moment. It became clear that these prominent “truthers” were anything but, and that something was seriously amiss.

The fake truthers’ support for characters like Kirk and Connolly is, frankly, all the proof one needs that they are not, in fact, in the business of finding truth. For to believe the Kirk and Connolly psyops one is not only required to ignore the very obvious fakeness of both events – (brilliantly researched and succinctly laid out here [Connolly] and here [Kirk] by Miri Finch) – but also to accept that politics is real, and that voting matters. Donald Trump himself showed up at the circus that was Charlie Kirk’s “funeral”, and Connolly is a walking advertisement for Nigel and his Reform Party. Those of us who genuinely care for truth have long known and spoken out about the fact that politics is nothing but theatre.

Another glaring tell of so many of the fake awakes has been the reaction to some valid, open and honest questions that have been put to them. Francis O’Neill recently published an article, recorded a podcast with James Delingpole, and broadcast another of his fascinating chats with Leo Biddle, asking pertinent questions about some of those he had come to know in “truth” circles, and instead of answers, he has received extraordinary backlash. And, those of us who have voiced our support of Francis’ questioning have found ourselves Twitter blocked by those leading the charge against him. Playground tactics. They’ve taken their ball back.

We must remember that “They” play a long game. It may well mean many weeks, months and even years of input from characters inserted into a movement, and who say all the right things – Covid is a con, moon landings are fake, jabs are dangerous. Then, when the moment is right, those trusted figures, who have become so amplified within the “truth” movement, start backing some stories that are blatant untruths, in the hope that enough of the “awake” who ally themselves with said characters will blindly follow, no matter how ludicrous the stories become.

And the pace has certainly quickened in the last few weeks. The psyops are coming thick and fast. It is like a game of whack-a-mole. Up pops a story, and all too quickly the holes appear and we’re able to knock it on the head. From young Henry No-Whack, to hurley-wielding heroes foiling attempted beheadings on the mean streets of Belfast, it is almost a full-time job to keep up! But don’t worry. These latest soap opera storylines are from the exact same playbook as all the previous ones, so should you find you have missed an episode, rest assured, it’s merely more of the same. And, conveniently, should you not have time or desire for critical thinking and discernment, you can simply hand that job over to the “news” people. They’ll tell you exactly what’s going on. Then, once you’re nicely angered and outraged by the “news” telly people, and ready for a rant, hop onto your favourite socials, and join the fake-awakes to profess “WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK” and “STARMER OUT!” Or join a local protest, stopping off on your way at the off-licence for your six-pack, and at Poundland for a flag to drape yourself in. And don’t forget your ragged old bit of cardboard upon which you can scrawl a slogan like “Deport the F*cking Lot of ‘Em!” in an almost dried out marker pen. You could even spread the word on TikTok, as a permanent record of yourself doing something you definitely won’t be embarrassed about in a few years’ time.

It is saddening and disheartening to see just how easy it is for “Them” to whip the masses into a frenzy. Useful idiots who believe they are anti-establishment, without realising that they are playing exactly the roles they have been primed for. Taking a knee, for example, a literal act of submission, for a fake victim, does absolutely nothing except prove, I’m afraid, that you are a fool. It is the equivalent of banging pots and pans on your doorstep for a medical system hell bent on killing you. And good grief, now we must endure the hell that will be the World Cup. The same “patriots” flinging around demands for their country back, will simultaneously crucify the England team when they inevitably (sorry!) lose. (Plus, the pub two doors down from me is going to be a no-go zone until it’s all over. But them’s the breaks.)

My circle of trusted people has reduced significantly in the last few months, but I’m fine with that. I have no desire to be part of a “crew”, I only wish to know who I can – and cannot – trust, and to learn the truth. And, it would seem that the more psyops they throw out there, the easier it is becoming to spot the fake awake. I have gone from a position of “we must save ourselves from the evil overlords who are going to enslave us” to “we are already enslaved by the evil overlords”. The only option now is to find a way back. But how? Suggestions very welcome.
